Hi! I'm Natasha, lover of sugar and all things pink!
My passion for sweets started at a very young age, baking alongside my mom and grandma. I instantly fell in love with everything about the process from getting flour everywhere, taste-testing and being able to use my hands to create some delicious desserts. At that time, I knew my dream was to have something of my own one day.
Furthering my passion for baking, I attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Advanced Baking and Pastry Arts. From there, I entered into the field of cakes, and haven't looked back since!
From there, I took an internship at Madison Lee's Cakes in New York City where I learned a tremendous amount about gum paste flowers, fondant work and perfecting my cake decorating skills.
After my internship, I went to work at Pink Cake Box in Denville, New Jersey, where I further enhanced my knowledge in cake decorating.
While working at different places over the years to strengthen my skills and career, I started making cakes for family members and friends on the side and before I knew it, Cakes By Natasha changed from being a dream to a reality.
